Tony (Antonio) Canaves was born in Cuba and has Venezuelan nationality now.
Tony Canaves graduated in Miami Dade College in 1971.
In 1975 Tony Canaves decided to settle in Venezuela.
Over the years Tony Canaves developed a strong business by diversifying their activities to different sectors of the Venezuelan economy, business customs, construction, communications, hospitality, mining corporations, development of large tracts of farms rearing cattle imported from Australia, breeding with modern equipment for field crops, a pioneer in the creation of modern grain drying centers of grains in Venezuela, a pioneer in breeding and marketing of alligator meat and hides gives high quality to European markets, creation of financial firms and banking services.
Tony Canaves   is a member of several social organizations and their extensive philanthropic work puts him in a privileged position within Venezuelan society.
